South-Transdanubian Water Information System

Informational developments in public administration with the aim of protecting the environment  (E-Environmental Protection)   KEOP 7.6.3.0  scheme
The project is funded jointly by the European Union and the European Regional Development Fund.

Description of the project:
The aim of the project is to develop an information system and new techniques the use,of which will help the work of the Directorate (and of other regional Authorites) in the long run. The direct aim is to support of the work of Water Framework Directive and the Water Information Centres, and also to provide the wide public with information. Int he project hardware and software will be purchased (through centralized procurement), installed and adapted.

The project and tender will proceed in two rounds, in which the developmental phase will last from July 2008 to October 2009, and the implementation of the project will follow in the subsequent 1,5-2 years. The deadline for realization is December 2011. The total sum of the project in the second round is almost 144 million Forints.

The investment can be realized with the help of “Új Magyarország” Development Scheme and the Environment- and Energy Operative Program.
